Praise Report!

 

“And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:19

 

God doesn’t promise to meet all our wants or even all of what we think we need but rather He knows what we need and when and that’s what He promises to meet.  That is exactly what He has been doing with our needs surrounding the birth of our baby. 

 

As I mentioned in one of my previous blog posts, God provided a home for us to stay at during our time in Nairobi.  The same missionary couple who are letting us stay in their home have also agreed to let us use their vehicle while in Nairobi!  Praise God!!

 

Then just the other day some close friends of ours told us they’d like to pay for us to go to and from Nairobi by whichever means we feel is best! Praise God!!

Here is part of their Facebook message to us, “We are very blessed to be in a position . . . We have been feeling God telling us to share our money with our Christian brothers and sisters, as it's not ours anyway, it all belongs to God doesn't it! So we would love to pay for all of you to make it to Nairobi and back in whatever way you think works best.”

Their words have challenged and encouraged us greatly.  Indeed, all we have belongs to God!  Another dear friend shared an article by RickWarren that also has challenged and encouraged us.  Many have added us to their church prayer chains and prayed for us during their Bible studies.  God hears each of those prayers and as He continues to teach us even through the name of our unborn child, He is a God who answers, Eliana! 

 

So even though we are not able to purchase a vehicle of our own yet God has provided so that we have a way to get to and from Nairobi as well as around Nairobi while there.  We are so encouraged and our faith is growing through this season.  We are confident that God will provide a vehicle in His perfect timing as well as the rest of what we need for the birth and more!

 

We have received so many encouraging emails and Facebook messages of prayer and donations that have greatly encouraged and built our faith. Thank you!

 

As our trip to Nairobi draws nearer and I get closer and closer to my due date we will continue to send out updates and we continue to cherish your prayers for a safe and healthy delivery.
